Roy and Jane Shallish are fine, local artists and sculptures and are popular exhibitors in the local area. Much of their work depicts scenes in the local area and captures the spirit of Axbridge. Roy’s handcrafted wire garden sculptures of geese and ducks are intricately designed and one of his stunning goose sculptures is the icon for this web page. The Drugstore gallery at 4 high st is a small gallery that allows photographers Barry Cawston and Soraya Schofield to exhibit and sell their personal work. In their commercial work they concentrate largely on editorial, reportage and architectural photography, whilst their personal work also incorporates landscape and 'art' imagery.
