Guest Bedrooms and Facilities

The five charming and generous bedrooms have many original historic features, and Patricia and Robert have furnished the bedrooms with family furniture to provide that delightful, homely feel that many guests appreciate.

The five bedrooms are located on the first floor over two landings which are accessed by a large crinoline staircase. All rooms have:

Refreshment Facilities
En-suite Facilities
Books and Magazines
Handmade Soap
Fresh milk delivered to your room each morning if required.

You can enjoy breakfast in the Dining Room with other guests, or you can eat privately in the Drawing Room, Morning Room, or in the garden if the weather is good.

Breakfast is a wholesome affair; you can choose all or some of the following - cereals, local yoghurts, juices, toasts/croissants, local sausage and bacon, and much more. Vegetarian breakfasts are also provided, and we can cater for the smaller appetite as well.

You can also have breakfast at a time that suits you, and we serve complimentary tea/coffee during your stay.

Compton House can sleep up to thirteen guests (more with occasional beds), and is the perfect place for catered or partially catered house parties.
