Compton House provides a full Somerset breakfast for all overnight guests (included in the room rate). For all other meals, we offer private dining facilities and these should be booked in advance. Compton House is ideal for reunions, anniversaries, birthdays and private celebrations.

All meals are freshly prepared using local produce and Fairtrade products whenever available. Vegetarian dishes, special diets and children's menus are available on request.

Compton House is fully licensed and we offer wines, spirits, beers and lagers from our Butler's Pantry and Cellar. Real ale from Newman's Brewery and cider from local orchards is also available.

A typical menu selection is shown below and this changes to reflect the best of Somerset's seasonal produce. We do not run a restaurant and you will be invited to discuss and select your dishes on a 'dinner-party basis'. A three course meal costs from £29.50 per person and our current menu can be viewed below and you can download our wine-list.
